Meet Jaden
Jaden Movold is a resilient force who refuses to let Spina Bifida define him.
Despite the challenges of his 21-year journey, he’s turned obstacles into opportunities, using his optimism and tenacity to amplify awareness of what can be achieved when we put our mind to something.
“From an early age, I experienced social exclusion, discrimination, medical trauma, and low expectations from others because of my disability.
I was told I would be nothing more than average academically, that it would be almost impossible to be a competitive athlete, and that life would be full of hardships and struggles”.

An internationally classified T54 wheelchair racer, he is world-ranked and competes in 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, and 10km distances.

Partners with forward thinking organisations, across a variety of roles, including brand promotion, volunteer work, public speaking, fundraising, media campaigns and more.
ADVOCATE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE
Represents the voices of young disabled New Zealanders, advocating for better opportunities to succeed in all aspects of their lives, that effect positive outcomes.
