

2016 Auckland WheelStarz Invitational
Yesterday our junior wheelchair basketball club hosted the annual Auckland WheelStarz Invitational. It was a fantastic day with 4 amazing teams competing for the trophy. My team - Auckland WheelStarz Blue - went undefeated in all the games and won the tournament! I play the position of guard so spend most of my time defending, blocking the opposition from opportunities to shoot and I help open up space for our key shooters. Weet-Bix Kid!
So I have been doing the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids Tryathlons since I was seven years old. I have done 17 already. A couple of months ago Sanitarium did a nation wide search for 5 kids to appear on the Weet-Bix cereal boxes along with their story. I was selected as one of them! Had a great photo shoot and look forward to seeing the final result in November.


Swim Fest
I love to have all my hard training pay off when I go to compete. I don't always get a personal best but when I do its a fantastic feeling! Last weekend I competed at the Golden Homes Swim Fest at the National Aquatic Centre, an event that invited all levels of competitive swimmers. Playing Mr. Darling
Just finished playing the character of Mr. Darling in my school's (Murrays Bay Intermediate School) production of Peter Pan Junior. It was amazing! The cast and crew were great. It's amazing how many people are involved in order to make a show come to life. We all rely on others to support us when we want to fulfill our dreams, whether it be in theatre or in real life.
